I've been searching for this at Target for months. A great product and much easier to get online than to keep checking the store. Very simple to plug into the blender and go- no extra stuff to wash in the morning.

Great product ... already had two for use with my blender for protein shakes/smoothies. Brother loved how easy it was to use and no additional clean-up ... so I got two for him too.
Wonderful to not have to clean the big blender ... also good for portion control as it holds just enough for 1 good shake/smoothie.
They are Oster products -- but fit his Hamilton Beach blender perfectly as well.

Wanted to give a quarter of a star - it's that bad 1 out of 5 stars.

I bought this item brand new - the first red flag should have been the return policy. You have 30 days to discover if it will work or if it's going to break on first use. After that, if it doesn't work or breaks, it's yours to keep FOREVER.

Here's what happened: I unpacked it, read the directions, plugged it in, put my fruit and yogurt in side, locked the lid down, and hit the start (pulse) button - nothing happened. It wouldn't even turn on.

I re-read the directions, checked the locking system, checked the plug, and tried again. NOTHING! Not even a spark!

DON'T BUY THIS ITEM, THROW YOUR MONEY IN THE TRASH INSTEAD. The result is the same.

I liked the small footprint and low price of this blender. And it seemed to do well even crushing frozen strawberries for smoothies, but the parts do not fit snuggly together and I think this caused it to break. The entire spinning mechanism under the jug splintered and sent out acrid smoke one morning and that was it for this blender. It is worth it to get a slightly pricy model made with hardier materials.

This blender is very inexpensive and the price affects its performance. The jar is plastic, and it became dull after just several uses. The motor is powerful, but the controls are not very precise. However, it does very well what I bought it for- to make smoothies for my kid.

It's definitely cheap and a bargain. The blades are great but there will be some chunky bits at the sides and you have to shake the jar a bit to ensure a smooth texture at the end. I tried using it to make sauces and that doesn't work very well.

However, all the jug parts were detachable and it's very easy to clean.

Bottom line: Works okay but not great. Consider Braun MR430HC/AC Multiquick Deluxe Hand Blender & Chopper

It's OK but you need to know a couple things... 3 out of 5 stars.

My wife and I noticed on first use that the motor emitted an electric-ozone smell. It might be oil in the motor windings left over from the manufacturing process, but if it's ozone from arcing brushes, it wouldn't bode well for long life under heavy use. We don't use a blender very often, so the smell hasn't gone away yet after several uses. My wife later called me for help to remove the cutter for cleaning. It just refused to come out. The manual says to insert the provided removal tool into the cutter base and turn clockwise to release it. Look out, you have the potential for a carpal-tunnel injury and potential unit breakage here, because the user's manual has it backwards: If you instead turn it counter-clockwise as would be most logical (looking down at the bottom of the inverted bowl) it will release with just about the amount of resistance you'd expect. While blenders in general are dangerous if misused, I also get bad vibes from a warning in the manual saying that if the switch is not first set to , the unit will start up as soon as you insert the bowl into the base. That big toggle switch up front looks pretty easy to accidentally bump to the position, so watch it. Other than that, it functions OK and styling is nice, matching well with our other SS appliances.

None of the metal parts are included, so you'll have to recover them from your old blender (if it's a replacement), and get the proper tools to remove them from one and install them in the other. Be careful, the blades are very sharp. It doesn't come with a top, either. The glass carafe itself is the same as the original as far as I can tell. I'd have preferred a complete replacement even for a somewhat higher price.
