I have one of this already. I bought an extra one for my mother in law (yes i know i want to earn some points there). My wife took it all the way to Venezuela and they already tried it. They love it. I recommend it 100%.
It is more expensive that others around but it is more well constructed that others i saw around

Let's face it, if you are going to have a blender and food processor, why not have a 2 in 1 product. My roommate had this device and I used it all the time. As soon as I got my own place I had to get one. I love that it is easy to switch devices on the base. The food processor makes the perfect serving of salsa! :)

The product is wonderful, especially for couples who are starting a life together in small spaces.
I received the product within the stipulated time and in perfect condition, but days later I saw the same product at a Costco store in Orlando 25 dollars below the price at which I bought from Amazon.

I have to say it... this is *the* ideal blender. It's simple without a million options that don't mean anything. The construction is great. It's easy to clean. It also is shaped in a way that you can actually pour out of it without making a huge mess. It's exactly what I was looking for.

For those who are wondering: I make lots of smoothies, mixed drinks, and soups. (Handles ice & frozen bananas very well.)

Finally, a blender that works! I was looking for a blender with lots of power because I make frozen drinks and smoothies several times a week. I tried to squeak by with a cheaper blender - I tried Hamilton Beach, Osterizer, and a "Smoothie Maker" that were all advertised as great for making frozen drinks - none of them worked. Not one of them crushed ice, and after a few uses, the motors on all of them started smoking, even though I did not run them more than 30 seconds at a time.

I decided I needed to spend more to get something that actually worked. The reviews for this blender were so helpful. I was trying to decide between the Waring and the KitchenAid or Cuisinart, and I am so glad that I chose the Waring. It crushes ice and frozen fruit in seconds, and I love the non removable blades! Very easy to clean! One tiny drop of dishwashing liquid, fill halfway with warm water, whir for a minute, rinse, and done!

So far I have made pina coladas with lots of ice; fruit smoothies with frozen strawberries and frozen bananas; peanut sauce; gazpacho; and thick soups, all with perfect results.

I miss my Braun Multiquick! 2 out of 5 stars.

Recently my roughly 10-year-old 400 watt Braun Multiquick gave up the ghost, and unfortunately the Braun hand blenders have become hard to find, or I would have run right out to buy another one. I tried this Kalorik model based on a recommendation from Cooks' Illustrated. Cooks' Illustrated gave this blender a "recommended" rating in a comparison with other stick blenders at the lower end of the price range. The jist of the article (or so I thought) was that nowadays prices have come down on these appliances and that it is possible to buy one that is functional for less $.

I knew from the first time I used this Kalorik that I was going to regret this purchase. I tried to make a strawberry smoothie using frozen strawberries, a fresh banana, and some liquid, as I have many times before with the Braun. This Kalorik struggled with the strawberries, which became lodged under the blade. It began to produce a plastic-burning smell and overheat. This was the first time I used it! I also quickly realized that cleaning up the shaft would be an annoyance. You can't just run it through the dishwasher, as I was accustomed to doing. It needs to be washed by hand, and though it comes clean fairly easily, the shaft is not designed for washing and holds water. Make certain to drain it over the sink. Ugh.

I have to say, I am a bit disappointed with Cooks Illustrated on this one and would like to know what they were thinking! Sorry, I'm looking for something that will get the job done.

I've seen this product on TV. The infomercial deal was not for me (price and quantity) so I searched the internet. This Magic Bullet set included everything that I needed at a reasonable price.

I was very excited to try it out when it first came in the mail. It works great. The only problem I'd mention is that it doesn't really work super on cheddar cheese (and I'm guessing other foods with the same consistency). You either have to keep pulsing more than with other foods (meaning do it separately) OR you can just melt it a little in the microwave for 10 seconds first.

I really use this every day. I love snack foods, especially when friends are over, so I use the Magic Bullet to make all sorts of wonderful dips out of whatever food I have in the fridge! Pretty awesome.
