We purchased our Zo,(Zojirushi BBCCX20 Home Bakery Supreme Bread Machine), as a replacement for another manufacturer's. The Zo is a far superior device and for the few months we have had it in our home has worked fine.

Installing the baking pan does require a knack. The external cams on the bottom of the baking pan must be properly aligned with the insert recepticals of the machine body inorder to install the baking pan. This task does get easier with come practice.

This has always been the best bread machine on the market, in our opinion. The sour dough option is delightful to have. We use this machine at least once daily, and couldn't be happier with it.

This is my first bread machine, selected after agonizing over many, many reviews. I like it. I wish the display were backlit and a little larger. For my first loaf I used a mix, Hodgson Mills 9 Grain. Nice loaf of bread. The machine worked as the directions said and it was much quieter than I expected. This week I bought the ingredients to "go solo." I'm very happy with my purchase and look forward to enjoying some great artisan breads without paying upwards of $5 a loaf for them!

As advertised, it does make great bread. My only little "niggle" is most of what I've baked is kind of mushy. I prefer, more rustic, airy bread but instead I'm getting these very dense high moisture loaves, albeit they taste very good. Trying to figure out who to make the crust more flaky as well.

All in all, a great machine though.....

When my old bread maker died after 10+ years, DH was buying me a new one for Xmas 2008. When we were looking to purchase - we were concerned with all of the negative reviews. Now that I'm 6 months in and have made 30+ loaves of bread in this machine, I can tell you, I don't understand the negative reviews...

The only thing I have to say is that I've found that I need a smidge (2TBL +) extra liquid when using this near rectangular bread pan. With a bit of extra liquid all is well.

I also very much appreciated the directions that came with the machine - and a definite required read. Gives good tips to the new bread maker about when you have too much liquid, too little liquid or too much yeast etc. and shows what your bread might look like. That came in handy for me! Also - due to the yeast drop systm - the liquid goes on top -- not bottom as was traditional in other pans/machines.

Reading and learning a bit more about yeast, gluten and proteins found in flours also helps make sure the bread comes out each time.

All in all - very happy with my purchase. Would recommend this machine to anyone.

Nobody in my family makes yeast bread so I had absolutely no experience with it. I can make quick breads, like my mom's banana bread, with my eyes closed but working with yeast was downright intimidating. However, I was craving cinnamon chip bread like we used to get in a bakery in the town we used to live in.

This Breadman was available at my local store so I bought it and ordered cinnamon chips from King Arthur Flour. I've had this Breadman for 2 years and am not disappointed, it's never failed me. I branched out from cinnamon chip bread to white bread, to whole wheat breads with nuts and seeds, just how my husband likes it.

I chose this Breadman because it doesn't make those telltale vertical loaves I remember bread machines making in the early '90s. And, I've got the timing down perfect to pull out the kneading paddle just after the last time it kneads so I just have a little hole in the bottom of the loaf. I'm very happy with the Breadman TR875.

To clean the inside of the paddle (there's a hole where it sets onto the loaf pan), I bought a Munchkin baby bottle brush for a few bucks, there's a little brush to clean small openings with.

DO NOT BUY A MORE EXPENSIVE MODEL. This one is PERFECT!!!!!! Make sure you shop THREE spots before you buy though. Amazon.com, Buy.com, and Walmart. The prices vary all the time. When I bought mine the price here on Amazon.com was nearly $75. I got mine from buy.com........SHOP SHOP SHOP!!!!

I have used this machine to make one recipe only: Oatmeal Honey on program #1. I never use the rapid bake cycle on this or on my other machines. So far I have made about 12 loafs with excellent results - as long as I shorten the bake cycle.

Pros: It consistently makes a perfectly shaped loaf, time after time. I haven't had the tops colapse. The bread texture is moist and flavorful. The crust is light brown and not excessively hard (If the bake cycle is shortened).

Cons: I have to stop the bake cycle manually with approximately 20 minutes left to go in order to have the bread turn out plesently moist and the crust chewable - even on the light selection.

The slices are too high for our toaster. We have to reverse the bread half way through the toast cycle to overcome this.

The display is hard to see. My machines are all on the floor which makes the display unreadable without a flashlight.

I gave it 4 stars because it does make excellent bread (within its limitations), and the price is right. I would love to find a machine with an adjustable bake cycle. The designers must like hard crust and dry bread.

I were looking for a toy to make home made breakfast.
I am so glad that I pick this bread machine over other bread machine, and over a waffer maker.

This is small enough that I can keep it on the counter all the time. Thus, I will use it more offen. The size is just right for a small family (2 adults + 2 kids). I made 6 loft of bread in the first 2 weeks. Everyone turns out good. I am going to try all the receipts come with the machine.

We purchased this breadmaker after our old one broke. We have had this breadmaker for 2 weeks and I have attempted multiple loaves of bread with no luck. They turn into little hard lumps that do not rise. I have even bought new flour and yeast hoping to resolve the issue but this last loaf is again not as good as our old breadmaker. I'm disappointed with this product. Both my sisters have this breadmaker and love it but I can't say the same thing.

I got this for a gift, (my husband got tired of hearing me bang my old machine on the counter to keep it going).I have had zero problems with this machine. The"electric smell" when first started was hardly noticed. It really mixes and kneads completely. I like the "mix-in" reminder, I love being able to take out the paddle before baking the bread. I will try the jams/jelly feature next, I have a lot of hot peppers ready to harvest.I would recommend this machine to my best friend. (Wife of Wrongway )

When our breadmaker of about 12yrs. broke, I search the internet for a replacement. I thoroughly checked out many many many different types and prices. I settled on this Cuisinart CBK-100 and, have been very pleased with the texture of bread it makes. I do however use 2 tablespoons of sugar for a 1 1/2 lb. loaf and use only 1 teaspoon of fast acting yeast instead of 1 1/2 teaspoons. It operates very quiet compared to our older machine we had. I really like the beeps telling you it's time to take the paddle out of the bread so you don't have that gaping hole on botton of every loaf. I strongly recommend purchasing this machine.

I tried to order a new bread pan for my Oster bread machine and they sent the wrong one. In the next call they argued with me about whether or not it was the right one (it just doesn't fit). They have offered to refund my money once the item has been returned, but I can't get them to find the correct pan. They don't even have e-mail so I can send pictures to show how it should fit and they won't call me to tell me when they have found the correct pan. They told me to call back in 6 to 8 weeks!

I got this product because back to France I used to make bread by myself and I was fed up with the soft american bread... Well, that bread maker only worked two times! Since then, the motor is always on when I turn on the machine, in other words the rotor never stops so it is impossible to cook anything. I am really busy so I did not have time to try to fix it or whatever, but I finally found some to leave this comment. Oh, and by the way, being able to cook in less than one hour does not mean that you will get a good bread...

This breadmaker made excellent bread. Although was a little loud and occasionally the stirring mechanism would lift of the gear. The ease of being able to add nuts to the mix is a great feature.

My last Breadman was a vertical, much better. On second use It stopped kneading. The nut came off from the pulley. When advising Breadman They seamed not to care. For the price you expect better quality.

Breadman TR2500BC Ultimate Plus 2-Pound Stainless-Steel Convection Breadmaker I have had a breadman breadmaker for the past 13 years and a few months ago it finally gave out on me. I loved my breadmaker and tried to find one just like it but could not, it was discontinued. :-( I reasearched breadman and found this one. I was actually looking for a horizontal breadmaker but when I got this one and tried it, I was sold. This is the best breadmaker ever! I don't have to worry about when to add extras, it does it for you and it is so easy to use. My family says the bread is even better. I am sold once again on my Breadman product. I would not buy any other kind of breadmaker. I found many that were priced lower but I did not like the looks or the features. After using my breadmaker for a month, I am very happy with it. Though I was not sold when I first got it, I thought it was a horizontal one, this vertical won has won me over. I give this product 5 stars because it is really worth it!

Made one basic white loaf. It was pretty good and quite simple, although more square in shape than I was hoping for. Tried to make a second (wheat) and it wouldn't start up (kept clicking like it was cycling but never began the initial cycle). Stopped and restarted several times to no avail, at which point I realized that the start/stop button wasn't functioning as it was supposed to. It's supposed to pause when you press it and stop when you hold it down, but it had no pause functionality. I shut it off and changed the selection from "wheat" to "basic" and it started, but after a few minutes it stalls out again and just sits there clicking. It's going back. I don't know if I'll get a replacement or a different model. I'm very sad as this was a "need to have this week" purchase due to food allergies.
