I love this product. I use it daily and love to froth milk for my morning coffee. It is terrific and it works great with all kinds of milk especially with whipping cream and evaporated milk. I barely go to Starbucks anymore when I can make my own lattés at home and taste even better. I've even converted my tea drinking spouse to drinking coffee! That says it all!

Usage: Semi-daily lattes or cappuccinos for myself or two with my Rancilio Silvia espresso machine.

After buying a much smaller "frothing pitcher" that is really better described a creamer, I bought this 20-ounce pitcher. While I normally make lattes only for myself, there is room in this pitcher to steam enough milk for two drinks when desired. For one drink I need to fill only 2/5 capacity, but it fits just fine between my steaming wand and the drip tray on my Rancilio Silvia. The "drip-resistant" lip delivers on its promise--I don't drip when I pour milk.

I've been using this pitcher for a few months now, and I am definitely satisfied. Great pitcher at a fair price--and it's attractive to boot! Highly recommended for the personal or low-volume barista.

We bought the mug with the the DeLonghi espresso maker. It fits conveniently under the steam nozzles and works well, producing frothy "caps" just the way we like them. Clean-up is a whiz.

I made the mistake in buying this to mix milk-protein drinks, it just doesn't have the power to do it. I'm going to buy a Cuisinart or Proctor Silex plug in model that have a lot more power and are about the same price.
This is probably great for frothing milk, but they shouldn't have advertised it for making shakes or anything that is thick.

I can not believe how well this works, how inexpensive it is and how much we love using it. Latte's, hot chocolate- we have a cup of tea just to froth the milk. I use it, my children use it and I have given several away for gifts. It is the perfect kitchen tool. Love the stand too.

This is one kitchen gadget that really works. Makes thick creamy froth in seconds. Batteries ( two "AA" ) last a long time. Just rinse it off to clean it. If you get one, get the "to go" model listed here. The plastic case is very handy. It fits perfectly and snaps closed tightly. Thrown in your gadget drawer, it won't get tangled up like everything else tends to do. This would make a perfect small gift for anyone with an espresso machine.

Unreliable, expensive and does not heat milk sufficiently 2 out of 5 stars.

I purchased an Aeroccino but found it less than easy to clean without scratching it, slightly unreliable, and too small to cater for more than 2 cups at a time. In addition it did not really heat the milk adequately when taken directly from the fridge. Eventually it stopped working and I had to return it.

After looking at the reviews for Aeroccinos on Amazon, it seemed that many others had experienced similar problems. One reviewer recommended the Froth Au Lait, which prompted me to purchase one to give it a try.

I have been very happy with the Froth Au Lait and in my opinion it is unrivalled in quality and price anywhere. It heats the milk perfectly directly from the fridge and the froth is amazing.

I have since purchased another UK (230V) model, and shipped it to England since there is nothing to rival it in the UK market.

My opinion: save your money, and take a chance on the Froth Au Lait. You won't be disappointed.

The Aerolatte Milk Frother is simple to use and easy to clean. The fast whipping action allows you to froth any kind of milk in no time. I have had my Bodum frother for about three years (older model than this one, black plastic top) and have had no problems with it other than my husband hitting the top rim with something and chipping the glass. I smoothed it out with an emery board nail file and it is fine, but that prompted me to look on Amazon to see if they still sold them so that I could order a backup but they are a little pricey now; I think I paid only about $10 for mine.

Many people have criticized this product because the glass broke and it seems many people are using metal spoons with it. To me it is common sense when dealing with a thin glass product such as this to use a plastic utensil if you need one. One of those long handled plastic spoons like you get at an ice cream shop work well. I usually just pour my froth out and wait a few seconds with a couple of little shakes which gets most of it out.

I always heat the milk (or half & half which I use most of the time) in the microwave first right in the beaker, then do the pumping and have had no problems doing it that way. I actually think heated milk froths better and creates a finer froth. Many people are under the false impression that heated milk won't froth but I think this is because most of the instructions on frothing are for espresso machines where it is always suggested to use very cold milk before steaming and frothing. But this is because of the heating factor with the hot steam. You have to use cold milk or you won't have enough time to froth before the milk reaches the ideal temperature. If you used preheated milk it would quickly overheat using hot steam to froth. So I think because of this many people assume that you need cold milk for any kind of frothing.

My Bodum has held up extremely well over the years that I have used it but I am careful with it and never put it in the dishwasher. I always immediately rinse both the wand and beaker, fill with a little warm water and detergent, then pump a few times to disperse the detergent. I then rinse well and air dry. I rarely take it apart to clean. Once in awhile I use a very soft brush to clean the screen.

This little frother is both convenient and stress free, no worrying about timing, or temperature, as with the espresso machine wands. You just pump for as long as you want until you're happy with the volume of your froth, which you can easily see because of the clear glass.

After maybe 18 months of everyday use the seal in the water reservoir failed. Water leaked onto the parts below and they corroded. I took the unit apart, cleaned the contacts and used it another year. Now it's having trouble again and I'm tired of messing with it, but I'm buying a replacement because it's still the best product I can find. It would be even better without the planned obsolescence -- improve the seal, and, as back up, make those internal parts out of something that water can't damage.

I really like mine. I've had it for years and wanted to get one for a friend. I asked my friend in Germany to get me one. She researched it for me. The one in Europe was twenty Euros. Then she found one at Amazon.com. I liked the five dollar price much better.

This is just a glass pitcher with a little plastic propeler. The plastic broke the first time we used it, and the company refused to replace the item. Don't bother, it is not worth the money. If you buy this item you will end up with a useless glass pitcher.
