Bitter,with an aftertaste of slightly burned caramel.
This is NOT cappuccino! They should make clear in the description that this is (supposedly) a "cappuccino" FLAVORED coffee.
Save your $$,this is simply nasty coffee.

I am on auto-delivery for this coffee. This works out very well. If you have a Keurig coffeemaker, be sure to try this flavor of Gloria Jean's coffees. It is delicious. I highly recommend this product.

Just remember these are flavored coffees for a single use coffee machine. This can not be compared to a real cappuccino machine. The people in the office seem to like this flavor more than most.

To copy what someone else wrote- it is full bodied, rich and smooth. I got my Senseo machine from Costco and that came with 6-7 flavors I think. I have also tried another 3 flavors. After reading reviews on the cafe Noir I decided to try it for my next purchase and so glad I did. Two thumbs up!

It is my favorite choice by far. I read a question from someone asking how this compares to the Dark Roast. I find the cafe Noir to be much much smoother. So out of the approximately 10 flavors I have tried,I prefer this one the most by a wide margin.

Just got some of this in today and having my first cup as I type this. Little did I know the package is from Belgium and doesn't have a lick of English on it! I'm assuming it's Dutch or maybe German.

Whatever it is, it tasted really good in any language!

Dark, bold flavor. I'm diggin' it.

On a vist to Europe last year I fell in love with D. E. "Extra Dark" coffee pods. Very sad to find that they are not available in the US. I chose "Espresso" as the next strongest blend....that is....until I found the new "Breakfast Blend". I am hoping that Amazon.com offers this blend and I am on my way to find out right now!

The Senseo Espresso Pods are good, we have the espresso pod holder for them and it seems to work well. I gonna give 4 instead of 5 stars because, I'd like it a little stronger. But I will certainly keep ordering them from Amazon, they have great deal with the subscription service and I can't find them locally.

I ordered some coffee in June. Roughly 3/4 of the coffee I ordered was due to expire In early July. I informed Amazon and they said they'd send some more coffee at no charge. The free shipment was also due to expire in early July. The coffee was mix/matched date-wise and I got the feeling that someone was trying to "manage" the old coffee in inventory rather than discard it. Eventually I got my $$ back, so I am only out some time and inconvenience. However, until I know that the old coffee problem is fixed, i will buy elsewhere.

Gloria Jean's has always been one of our favorite coffee brand names. The mix of Decaf and Caffeinated K-Cups fits our family well. There is no need to have multiple boxes open.

We purchase this product once a month via automatic shipment. The price, however, for a two-pack of 25 K-Cups has risen since we joined the promotion for automatic mailings. The price is still right and we will continue to order automatically as long as the price does not continue to rise. Otherwise we will return to Ebay where the prices are very competitive.

Senseo Sumatra Pods are Great! 5 out of 5 stars.

I have used a Senseo maker for about three years, making 3 to 10 cups a day. (I'm on my third machine.) Mostly I have used other brand pods for the bolder flavor, but these Sumatra pods are about as good as any I have tried.

Some other brand coffees I like are from Wolfgang Puck and Reunion Island; however, these other brands wreck the mechanism of the Senseo due to the thicker pod. These Senseo pods work better and taste just as good.

I lived in Germany for three years and really learned to like European style coffees. Nothing makes crema like a Senseo!

We love our Senseo, and the Sumatra Blend, which is rich and dark, yet smooth and not bitter. Far superioe to their Dark Roast.

We are starting to have trouble consistently finding it in the local stores, and buying it on autopuchase at a discount through Amazon makes a lot of sense, both for convenience and price.

I'm not a coffee snob, barely drinking a cup a week, but my significant other needs a strong mugful every morning. The pods and the Senseo machine are perfect for this; barely takes 2-minutes to brew. The 6-pack box comes out to about 30cents a cup even with the added latte packets (60cents when two are used for a strong mug serving). Wonderful aroma and works well with the flavor packets. I'm hoping the money saved by avoiding Starbucks every morning will go to my potato chip addiction....

So long as you have a pod type coffee machine, the Senseo Pods, in all their variations, make a good cup of coffee easily. If you drink one or two cups of coffee per day they are worth the price of the machine and the pods.

I like the Senseo coffee machine and believe that it can make very good coffee. However, I have been disappointed with the Senseo coffee pods that are made in Belgium by Douwe Egberts. The pods are not individually wrapped and the coffee often does not taste fresh. The pods also contain too little coffee which results in a weak, watery brew. The flavored Senseo French Vanilla Caramel Bistro Coffee Pods seem to me to be better than most Senseo blends that I have tried. In general, I prefer to buy pods from Timothy's World Coffee. The Timothy pods contain almost twice as much coffee as the Senseo pods and the resulting coffee is superior, in my view. I have found that the Timothy pods will work well in the Senseo machine if the pod is moistened and smoothed before latching the lid. I use the single pod holder and make a 4 ounce cup. If you must use the Senseo pods made by Douwe Egberts, try this blend.

Of all the Gloria Jean k-cups, this is the most disappointing. Not only is there not enough chocolate or almond flavor in the cup -- there's not even enough coffee flavor. Too thin, too weak, and with absolutely no punch at all, even when prepared on the shortest (5.5oz) setting.

I love my Keurig, and I've tried a lot of different flavours, and so far, this is my very very very favourite. I love that it's mild, but full bodied, with just a hint of almond taste. It doesn't really taste chocolately to me.

Over the years I've gotten a bit lazy about coffee-drinking and sometimes I end up drinking it well after it's gotten cold. This particular flavor makes the whole kitchen smell good when it's brewing, but within 15 minutes there's no scent at all. Perhaps this is a drawback of the K-cups, because I've had Swiss chocolate almond coffee in bean form before, where the flavor really sticks with it.

These coffee pods might make delicious coffee, but they are too small for the Senseo coffee maker. They hold less coffee than Senseo's own pods therefore the coffee comes out watery. I was very disappointed since i enjoy flavored coffees as a rule.

I found this to be a delicious, subtly chocolate coffee. I added a bit of sweetener and some cream, and thought it was delightful. I'm not usually a flavored coffee drinker, but picked this up because of the Godiva name. I'm put off by very strong flavors, so I found this to be just my taste. If you like mocha lattes from the coffee shop, give this a try. I subtracted one star because it was not as foamy on top as I'm used to from Senseo pods.

I am in love with this coffee! Perfect for the Senseo machine. When I start the day with this coffee I start the day with a smile on my face. It's so yummy and sweet. It goes really well with Coffeemate Chocolate Raspberry cream.

We love the aroma and taste of flavored coffee and were looking forward to this given the name that Godiva has in chocolate! But what a disappointment we had. The coffee was weak and had very little aroma and even less taste. Why is it that we can't get the same nice aroma and flavor from our pod machines as friend can get from their cup machines? Anyway, we had set this up for automatic delivery and will cancel future orders. Not worth the premium price, Godiva needs to go back to the lab on this one!
