I have used these as a backup and for a portable one off, brewing system.
Doesn't do much, but does what it does, well.
More hassle than "coffee bags", but much better coffee.
Sealed commercial brands tend to add instant coffee to speed things up.
This system is pretty graceful and you control the process.
It's reasonably portable, and , for limited space situations, downright slick.

These little filters are perfect for travel or in the office. Just remember to keep the stick that is included. I use these every morning to brew my Teeccino at work. They are much better than any other manual brew contraption that I've used. No grounds get in your drink like happens with tea balls or strainers.
