Still haven't received it, after 5 weeks, so can't review. Communicating the shipping problem to me though leaves a lot to be deisired.

We love our Krups coffee maker. But it can be difficult to find a replacement carafe should the original get broken. That's exactly what happened to ours the day we were having guests over the house. It has to be the exact replacement, or the functions will not work properly. What a mess I made trying to make coffee with a borrowed carafe! Fortunately, Amazon came through again. We purchased this through their website from Small Appliance. While we had to pay for shipping, the item was ordered on a Thursday and we received it on Saturday. So, there's really not much to say about the product because you really only have one choice. But the service from Amazon and Small Appliance was incredible.

My husband, who is a two pot a day coffer drinker, and very fussy, says that this coffee maker does not burn the water, and therefore the coffee tastes the best. I find it easy to use and clean ( I do not drink coffee).

We purchased a Mr Coffee replacement carafe for an expresso maker. THis site like the rest cost more to get a replacement 4 cup carage than it does to buy a 10-12 cup caqrafe. After paying $12 to buy the carafe (and half that amount to get it shipped) I go to Walmart and find a generic one that was only $5.00.
I will give Credit to this site for their carafe came with the lid, where all of the others (except the Walmart one) did not have a top to them.

Though it was just a coffee pot I purchased, We love are Delonghi Elite Coffee maker and feel that it was worth ordering a new pot, rather than go with a whole new coffee maker.

The reason for getting a new pot was the lid where it bubbles and goes under the coffee maker to release the coffee, broke. Other than that I wouldn't trade my delonghi coffee maker in for any other coffee maker company out there. I have owned my coffee maker over two years. It is worth the money we spent on purchasing the coffee maker. "You get what you pay for!"

Ok you get up in the morning wanting your coffee and DRAT! the coffe pot is cracked from all the use......well no more!

I had that happen to me a few days ago. I am so sick of cheap, thin little pots that I decided to never go through this again. I ordered the steel pot and it is great.

All one piece steel that won't break.
The only downside is...you can't see how much coffe is left in the pot.

If your like me...you solve that little problem by re-filling your mug until there is no coffe left......works for me.

Worth the money on saved aggravation alone.
