This warmer definitely keeps my tea warm all day - no problems there. I do, I have to say, live in fear of leaving it on one day and burning down the office...but I guess that's unavoidable. The worrying bit. Not the burning down the office bit. One hopes.

Although I can't compare it to other warmers, I will say that, with shipping, it comes out pricier than I would have liked for what it is (especially since it only has a power cord, not a usb cord). But all in all, it was a useful purchase.

The product works great and certainly meets my expectations for it, but doesn't really go much further. It doesn't heat the coffee very evenly. The bottom gets really hot but the top of the coffee can get cool, even cold. Then when you drink it, it becomes a weird temperature in the mouth. I was able to remedy this by keeping a spoon on the dresser to mix it before I drank. Comes with a cup, but my guess is that you can use any cup.

This Espressione machine though medium priced, is terrific. Before buying it, I researched espresso cappuccino machines in this price range, extensively. The Espressione has impressive power stats. I love European style coffee, and this machine delivers it. Suggestion: I bought it in white and it's hard to keep clean.
Wish I'd bought the graphite.

This espresso machine should not cost this much. It's made of very thin plastic, it leaks when I make espresso, and the steamer attached so close to machine that I always worry to scratch it.It froths the milk fine but noisy. Most importantly the drinks taste like some metal or plastic.So disappointing !!!!!!!!

I have had the older version of this coffee maker for years, maybe 5 years and have had no problems with it until I dropped the filter holder and it broke. My fault, not the coffee makers fault. For the previous negative reviews: What coffee maker do you not have to place the decanter just right to get the coffee in it? Also, there is a temperature knob that will keep your coffee as hot or cool as you want it, just turn the knob to the highest setting. Also, how long does it take someone to pour a cup of coffee? The pause feature is for 30 seconds. I can pour three cups in that amount of time. Great machine at a great price. Going to buy another one since they don't sell the filter holder separately.

I still prefer my french press 4 out of 5 stars.

Okay, I too was on here looking for what type of reusable filter to buy for this machine because I hate paper filters.

I've had this maker since December '09 and it is now March '10- it seems to be working okay (will be peeved if I wake up in the morning and it broke because I'm writing this). I like the plate warmer functionality in which you can adjust the temp- I don't want to scald my coffee because we buy the expensive crap and I am a huge coffee snob. I love the timer function as well- I think 2 hours is plenty because the essential oils break down after 1 hour of sitting... so after 2 hours if I'm not done with my coffee then there's a problem.

My main beef with this is that it's hard to find a filter for and that I don't quite think the 'strong' setting is strong enough. I'm fearing the regular setting (never tried it) because it might come out as pond seepage (weak crap), but the strong setting brews up an okay cup- I usually have to put the amount for 8 cups of grinds for a 6 cup pot (it's that weak), and it seems to brew a mediocre cup of brew.

Okay, the light is insanely bright on it. Like unreasonably bright. I had to put a piece of masking tape over it so I could get some sleep at night (our bedroom is by the kitchen and we leave the door open- it lights up the entire first floor, I swear).

All in all, it's an okay cup of coffee, but it's my back up for when I don't have time for or my french press is dirty and I haven't cleaned it (either of them, I have 2).

This is a great machine. It heats up fast, and brews fast. I read the reviews about the coffee tasting like plastic, and I had the same problem at first. But I cleaned it with the vinegar solution, and after a couple uses, the plastic taste went away and now we just have a great machine.

I purchased this coffeemake after reading extensive reviews on Amazon and other web-sites for coffemakers at this price range. My mother-n-law came to visit me and her son for a week. Since she is a regular coffee drinker which I am not, needed to find one that was reasonably price and functioned well. This one did. My mother-n-law enjoyed her morning cup. I bought the more pricier filter cups so I'm sure that plays a part in good coffee. The coffee maker doesn't leak water on the countertop like other lower-priced coffee maker. I purchased the one in white which I'm glad I did instead of the white. The clock is not lit but that was ok for me. All in all for this price range this is a good one.

I've had this brewer for over a year, and for the first few weeks was intensely disappointed in the watered down coffee it was producing. On the top of the machine it says "Fill water tank with COLD water". It took me awhile to realize that THIS is the secret of the machine. Something to do with the heating of the water slows it's drip through the pod. You get a much better cup of coffee if you use water from your refrigerator. It's still not a top of the line device, but it's good for it's price if follow this tip.

If you like weak, lukewarm, dishwater-tasting coffee, this is the machine for you.
Yeah, it's pretty portable if you're traveling, it's easy to clean, it's convenient, but the coffee it makes is awful
Get a Keurig or a Senseo, or, better yet, a "Handpresso" if you want good coffee. The keurig isn't very portable, but it's small.

I took the coffee maker out of the box and got it set up to run the initial cleaning cycle. I realized almost immediately I wasn't going to be happy with this machine. First off, it has a secondary water filter which is just an obnoxious ploy to get we the consumers to buy more useless and wasteful junk, and secondly, the friggin' place where you put the water is almost impossible to load without spilling. I managed to make two spills using a measuring cup with a spout and a great deal of care. There's no way on earth I could do that at 6:00 a.m. Yes, I know there's a timer, but I'm a busy person and will have lapses and don't want to soak my kitchen on the mornings I have to fill it.

But, none of this matters, because, miracle of miracles, this first rate piece of junk's carafe lid didn't pour properly out of the box. You read that right, this thing was MADE broken, and will be returned and replaced with something not made by Mr. Coffee and, unfortunately, probably not made in the USA. How can I buy locally and support domestic manufacture and save all the trees and my neighbors jobs when our engineering degrees and thoughtful spending on education gets us rubes who design jokes like this? Just kidding, this thing was probably designed by committee in India and manufactured by teens in Guangdong.

We were given a less expensive Breville espresso machine as a gift. It started leaking after several months, so I contacted Breville customer service. They swapped the less expensive machine for this one -- without charge. I was thrilled that they took back the other one (since I didn't have a receipt) and even more thrilled that they upgraded it. Although the new machine was refurbished, I can't tell the difference. This machine is solid, works quickly, delivers great espresso and cappuccino, and is easy to clean. I highly recommend not just this machine, but Breville products -- due to their excellent customer service.
