This is our second one--we ran the first into the ground. The newer model is more handy for filling a thermos as you fly out the door. The flavor is consistent and the coffee stays hot without getting stronger as it sits. Highly recommended.

This machine is great! The coffee is terrific and it's easy to use. I just wish I drank more coffee! It can make from 1-12 cups, but I just heat water in the micro when I'm the only one having coffee.

Excellent. We've used the carafe-less coffee makers for years. Two HB brewmasters and last year the Cuisinart 2000. I never could fill the Cusinart without spilling water. This one works far better and is half the price. This is the 5 button model with a strong coffee setting. Seems to work.

Best French Press Ever! 4 out of 5 stars.

My husband loves this French press because it is nearly indestructible. He loves the design and the fact that it is super easy to clean. The capacity of the cups is an exaggeration; 5-6 cups is really more like 3 cups, so buy one size larger than you think you need. We originally purchased the 5-6 cup press but it was too small so we returned it for the Frieling 35 oz press which is PERFECT; we can even use the old wire mesh and rod assembly from our three broken Bodum presses. We are extremely happy with this press and will NEVER go back to the glass version.

Like many others here, I broke one too many glass carafes and decided to try a stainless French press instead. I looked at the Bodum stainless press, which I thought was quite cute, but it had a little plastic gasket around edge of the plunger. Probably this helps to make the plunger fit better, but I don't like the idea of putting plastic in my coffee everyday. So I bought the Frieling because it didn't have any plastic parts. This coffee press is rock solid. It's made entirely of stainless steel, inside and out. It seems very sturdy and is dishwasher safe. It makes great coffee and does keep the coffee hotter than the glass press (no, you couldn't leave it in there for hours and expect it to stay hot, but that isn't the point of a French press anyway). I think it's going to be worth the investment. I hope not to have to buy a new French press for a very long time.

I was slightly apprehensive after reading some negative reviews. One reviewer complained that the carafe was difficult to pour without spilling, correct. Coffee maker works fine, espresso side works fine but the carafe for the coffee maker dribbles coffee all over the counter with astounding regularity. I have it a month and pour slow, pour fast, pour slower, pour faster nothing keeps this baby delivering joe down the middle of your cup. If you can bear that annoyance, this machine is fine. Directions are useless.

I have used almost every brand of coffee maker. But when I made the first pot with my DeLonghi, I new then that I would never use another coffee maker. The coffee that was made from it was by far the best I have ever tasted, even comparing it with coffee shops.If you by this coffee maker you will not be dissatisfied.

I've had my DeLonghi Esclusivo coffeemaker for exactly 3 months. It brewed the best tasting coffee I've ever had. It was my favorite coffee maker by far for the following reasons: Coffee is delicious -slow brewing permits a more robust coffee. Small footprint on my counter. Stylish design. VERY easy to program and use. Large opening through which to pour water. Charcoal filter to purify water. Automatic shut off. Caraffe has large opening for easy cleaning. NON-DRIP POURING!! I was in heaven with this coffeemaker and knew I'd found the perfect one. (I've had many in my lifetime.)

Unfortunately, two days ago, the plastic surrounding the hot plate began to melt. The vendor from whom I purchased it has already refunded my money and has asked me to return it. I will NOT purchase another one for fear of fire hazard. This coffeemaker would have received 10 stars from me had it not begun to melt itself to death. For this reason, I'm heartsick.....it WAS the perfect coffeemaker.

The French press coffee maker is accepted worldwide as one of the best methods for brewing coffee and our New Kenya coffee press is sure to deliver not only gourmet coffee flavor, but modern design. The durable and heat-resistant glass beaker is partially encased by the black plastic frame of the New Kenya coffee maker. The frame covers a part of the sides and bottom of the beaker, making it safe for the tabletop without using a trivet or coaster. Simple to use, the French press is a proven method for brewing flavorful and balance coffee. Coffee is measured in 4 oz. cups, so our 8-cup press will brew 34 oz., serving three to four people. For best results, use coarse ground coffee. Just add the appropriate amount of ground coffee to the beaker (we recommend one 7 gram scoop per 4 oz. of water). I bought this product about 6 years ago. I was impressed from the first brew. The coffee was great! The freshly ground beans seemed to make the difference. Then as time went by, certain plastic parts of the machine began to warp from heat exposure. I've had to replace the cover over the ground beans twice already. It has always leaked a little water and as time has worn on it leaks pretty badly today. Out of 10 cups of water we rarely get more than 5 cups of coffee. In the beginning the loss was less than a cup. The condensing steam flows out from the chamber directly over the ground beans and down the outside of the chamber. It's not corrected by cleaning or any other method we've tried. It still makes pretty good coffee, but I'll be looking for another type when we need to replace this one.+

If you're looking for an easy-to-use, simple coffee maker at a really good price, which also happens to make great coffee, look no further! This basic machine allows you to vary the brew strength not only based on the number of cups made, but also according to your own taste. I've seen a review that mentions spills, but the only way you can spill hot coffee while pouring is if you try to dump it all out at once! All things considered, this is truly an excellent product!

Cuisinart DCC-100 Coffee Bar Classic 10-Cup Coffeemaker, White
After about 3 weeks the plug at the bottom of the brew basket fell out and was lost. Cuisinart replaced the basket by UPS in a week. The purpose of the plug is to stop the flow if the carafe is removed while the coffee is still dripping. It being missing did not affect the quality of the coffee. The DCC-100 is a great value for the price.

I owned a space saver coffeemaker years back and loved it. I decided to buy the Black and Decker Spacesaver Coffemaker. I ended up returning the first one because it just quit and now my second one is not dispensing all the water when you run the cycle. I will not buy a third one. And yes, it is a s-l-o-w coffeemaker.

I have had one of these Black & Decker 12-Cup Coffeemakers before and really liked it a lot. Had to replace it when the old one played out. I really like the feature of under counter mount as it doesn't take up any counter space.

I would not recommend this product. 1) the mounting bracket installs with the screw going up into the cabinet 2) product completely died within the first 6 months of use. One day it just would not turn on.
