Cuisinart's PowerPrep Plus gives new meaning to the term "cutting edge." This premier kitchen workhorse is streamlined, so the base (which measures 9 inches wide by 11 inches deep) looks less boxy and the processor more sleek and unobtrusive than ever on the counter. In addition, the rounded shape makes cleaning easier--no more sticky crevices and corners. But it's more than just looks that put the PowerPrep Plus in a league of its own. The 14-cup work bowl has a huge capacity, holding up to 3 pounds of bread or cookie dough or more than 2 pounds of meat, which means less parsing out of batches and more consistent mixing overall.Also, the wide-mouth feed tube gobbles up whole fruits and vegetables, which means less prep work. The powerful direct-drive induction motor base has touchpad controls with indicator lights and a special alternate speed for bread kneading. Works great but turn table that attaches to freezer sticks 4 out of 5 stars.

This works great and very easy to use. Only issues is that the Freezer container gets stuck to the turn table and is very hard to remove. I suggest buying a second turntable and not bother removing them from the freezer container.

I finally broke down and bought this attachment for the Concept machine. It's good, though it took me a while to figure out how to use properly.First, my freezer wasn't turned very cold. This caused problems. Make sure your freezer is cold. They recommend around 0F or -18C.
Second, don't put too much in one batch. The ice cream recipes I got from a Williams-Sonoma book were about twice as large as this unit will do. A good rule of thumb is that the container should only be filled up 60% with liquid. It will increase in volume from the creaming process.
If you avoid these two problems, I'm sure it will be a good attachment for you as well.

The Thin Slicing Disc is not included with the 14 Inch Cuisinart Custom Food Processor, but if you like American fried potatoes or home-made potato chips you will want to buy this disc. It makes perfect slices in seconds.

With a 3-cup work bowl and 240 watts of power, this chopper works great for small jobs and for making sauces, frostings, and dressings. The stainless-steel blade's reverse spiral action pulls food down, minimizing scraping and producing uniformly chopped meat, nuts, cheese, vegetables, herbs--all the many foods intended for the chopper. For adding ingredients during operation, the lid offers two compartments, one for dry items and the other for wet. For precise control, the chopper's electronic pulse pad responds instantaneously. The heavy power base provides stability and is seamless, making cleanup a simple matter of wiping the base and placing all the parts in the dishwasher.
