The Thin Slicing Disc is not included with the 14 Inch Cuisinart Custom Food Processor, but if you like American fried potatoes or home-made potato chips you will want to buy this disc. It makes perfect slices in seconds.

I bought these discs for my new 11 cup KitchenAid Food Processor, but was thrilled to find they also fit my 9 cup KitchenAid Food Processor. Had I known that, they would have been purchased long ago! Now there will be double the fun.

I recently bought a new fp from Amazon as well as this disc set. Upon arrival I found that this set will not fit the new 9 cup fp. I called the vendor and was told that I was wrong and was disconnected. I called kitchenaid and my findings were confirmed. The set only fits an older 9 cup fp. I ordered the set from KitchenAid. The reason I gave the set only one star was for the following reasons. First the set does not fit. Secondly, the vender ( Ace Hardware )was very rude by hanging up.

To get the maximum use from your KitchenAid food processor, you'll want to add these 5 discs and complete the set. The KitchenAid disc storage holder is a must have for any KitchenAid Food Processor owner! I have found that the KitchenAid storage holder is not only a cleaver means of storing the various discs but it is extremely sturdy as well. I have no trouble picking out which disc is which do to the holder being made of clear plastic. I only wish I had been the person to invent this helpful gadget. I think you will find this item to be a great addition to any kitchen!

this is a piece of plastic that is cut to fit the Kitchenaid food processor discs. So, it holds them perfectly, on the wall or in the cabinet.

I believe I would have liked this better if I had a deep drawer to install it into along with other blades which do not fit into this, spindle extra bowl, etc. I am using the simplest cheapest solution and have never mounted this. I have three bowls inside a drawer which organize the various shapes of blades ( some have two blades for my smaller bowl on the kitchenaide 9 cup)

I was not impressed with this purchase. Although it does everything it says it does, cut french fries, it is limited by the space in the feed tube. If you've already got the knife out to par down the potato to fit the tube, you might as well just slice your fries yourself. You will get a longer french fry and no wasted clean up. I prefer a fry that is longer than 3 inches which may even be stretching it for the final resulting fry size that you get out of this blade. As with most Kitchenaid products it is sturdy and will last, which is why I gave this blade a rating of 2. I have used my blade once and do not forsee it ever seeing the light of day again in my house.

This bowl fits differently than the original failed bowl did. There is a larger space betweeen the bowl and the lid. I have to hold the lid to make sure the machine runs.
This is not a problem now that I figured out what I have to do to get the machine to run.
