This was the first time I had to chop a cup of green onions for a dip and not use a knife, at the risk of cutting myself. It took less than 30 seconds to clean the little onions and chop them up with this Kitchen Aid 3 cup Chopper. I'm sorry I didn't buy one ot these choppers years ago. It took only seconds to get the job done. And I love the color pink! Bravo Kitchen Aid.

I bought this because of the book SNEAKY CHEF.....
I love the fact I can leave it on my counter ( so small ) and yet it does everything I want it to so far. The only thing I did not care for is you have to hold the button the whole time.

I love the color but that is about it. The product has proven to have a fragile system. I use it on average once a week to puree/chop 1 small onion and garlic. It works fine for about 6 weeks and I don't know what happens but the motor stops working. I have had the appliance replaced twice and the same thing happens. I have had my Cuisinart for years and never had a problem.

I purchased this cover for my stand mixer only to find out that it is a cover for a food processor or blender. When I called for a return, the person I spoke to basically explained that it was my fault for ordering the wrong item. He acknowledged that neither Amazon or the seller's website indicate what it is a cover for, but I should have called and asked a representative, even though their information doesn't have an accurate description either. They did take the product back, but the way their representative treated me has cost them my business.

For those with 9 cup food processors... 2 out of 5 stars.

The juice extractor does FIT the 9 cup fp, as Kitchenaid says, however, it doesn't actually WORK with it. The attachment sits in the bowl just as it should, it spins around, but the food pusher does not reach down far enough to actually make juice out of your veggies. Whatever you drop in will simply go straight through without scraping the bottom, as Kitchenaid says it should, and then spin around like mad without making juice. I spoke with Kitchenaid a couple of times and I am sending it back. I even tried putting in larger chunks but it just won't hold them in place because the pusher and tube extender are not long enough. I also tried a wooden spoon for a pusher but it didn't help due to the shortness of the tube. Bottom line, no matter how bad you want this extractor, like I did, don't get it for a 9 cup processor.
