I've never had a food processor, but friends kept saying how handy they were. I looked at everything Amazon had to offer and read the reviews. In the end I'm delighted. I didn't spend a lot of money. It does everything I'd like it to do. I'm in weight Watchers and making their muffins is a breeze with this little machine. It chops the cereal, blends the dry ingredients and mixes the wet into it easily. One bowl for everything. Wonderful. It has a lot of power. The blade is a little high to entirely chop all the cereal instantly, but a few extra pulses has it to a farily fine powder. The one complaint is the on/off dial only has little nubs for gripping to turn off & on. If you have wet or arthritic hands it might be a little difficult. This is definitely worth the money though.

This was a gift bought for another who reports she likes the unit very much. It arrived within the time promised and in good condition.
Saves time! I can make so many things! 5 out of 5 stars.

Some of the best money I ever spent in the kitchen! As long as you don't overload this (2/3 for less dense stuff, if you're chopping anything hard like carrots, beets, cabbage, cut it up into smaller chunks and only fill 1/3 of the container), it works like a dream and has made a variety of dishes possible or easier for me to make at home. Great example would be cabbage salsa or tomatoes for a potluck pasta salad - it's nice to have it so uniformly chopped up. You'll want to play with the pulse setting a bit to get used to how long it takes to get certain foods down to the size you want, and I'm a teeny bit worried the plastic parts, especially the rotator-y spindle in the middle (sorry, not a small appliance mechanic...) will eventually crack and break. BUT, I still highly recommend this product, I've had so much fun with it and if it does ever break I'll definitely replace it.
