Editorial Review:

The Hamilton Beach Change-A-Bowl slicer will change the way you feel about food prep forever. Unlike a food processor, change-a-bowl(tm) lets you slice or shred multiple ingredients right into GladWare containers... no more scraping out ingredients into other bowls. To slice or shred, just attach the stainless steel disc under the top. Serving, microwaving, storing and of course, cleanup is a snap. All parts stack together for compact storage. Limited warranty.

Improved on Perfection 5 out of 5 stars.

I owned one of the first HB Big Mouths ... it came time to get another ( I cracked the bowl ) This version is wonderful all the blades store inside , the chopping blade is lower and can chop smaller amounts . The power is amazing. The suction cups on the bottom hold it in place but don't require a weight lifting belt to get it free from the counter , like the first version did. I gave away my new KitchenAid in favor of this product , the KitchenAid was damaged in one light use. I have a large family 7 kids , 2 parents , 2 employees and this Big Mouth can handle what ever I through at it.

I highly recommend this product.

awesome food processor 5 out of 5 stars.

I wish I could rate this product higher than 5 stars! As a (fairly) newlywed and novice chef, I decided I needed a food processor. After much research, I decided to spend a bit more money than I initially expected to and purchased the mid-size KitchenAid food processor. I've owned it for only 2 weeks and have probably used it an average of once per day! The first time I used it, I thought it wasn't working because it was so quiet! The first words out of my mouth were "My mom won't believe this!" Growing up, my mom would have to warn us to cover our ears when she was about to use her food processor, because it was so loud. (By the way, she was amazed this past weekend when she visited and we used the processor). Not only is it quiet, but it is very powerful and fast! It has the pulse feature which is good when you want to take care in how finely you want things chopped. (It may work too well sometimes...it takes some getting used to). This product has made cooking so much easier for me. No more chopping garlic and onion or shredding carrots (my knuckles are thanking me). I love the mini bowl - I can use the processor twice in one meal without having to clean up. I have not used the citrus juicer yet, but when I do, I'm sure it will meet my expectations. One caution: do not leave liquidy food in the processor for a long period of time, as it will leak out. I would recommend this product for anyone looking for a high quality first food processor. I plan on upgrading to the (red!!) 11 cup after I pass this one on to my future children.

Editorial Review:

This powerful processor comes with a citrus press so you can enjoy fresh-squeezed juice in minutes, definitely a glorious way to start your morning. With the multi-purpose blade and slicing/shredding disc you can purEe as in sweet potato soup, slice as in potatoes for homemade chips, and shred as in cole slaw.

great at first... 2 out of 5 stars.

Have had the unit for 2 years.. things keep cracking.. had the screw cap crack and it took over 3 months to get L'Equip to rectify.. first they sent out another piece that didn't work and proceeded to argue with me and tell me that it was my fault the piece wasn't screwing in.. I spent over $20.00 shipping screw caps back and forth and had to deal with attitude from them as well. Finally got the screw cap that works with my juicer with no admittance of a mistake on their part... I JUST started juicing again and now the blank strainer cracked. I am NOT looking forward to dealing with customer service once again. Try another brand with a more reliable customer service.

did all right until I started juicing wheat grass 2 out of 5 stars.

I've had the L'equip 509 Visor Juicer for around 6 months, and it did all right until I started juicing wheat grass. Now the machine's auger is bent and the end keeps popping off. I was going to buy a Sampson Kyoto, but I thought I'd try this little manual juicer. I figured I could always use it as a back up.

This little gem is giving more juice yield than the Visor, doesn't seem to take any longer to juice, much easier to clean (the Visor cleans very easy), no foam, turns even slower than the electric models, and it is so quiet. I seem to have developed a nice little rhythm that is so peaceful, and I get to drink cool juice with no foam. Now, with higher yield, I can grow less grass, and save electricity. I know that it is not much, but...

I'm going to buy another one of these Healthy Juicer - Wheatgrass and Vegetable Juicer, and now they've knocked another 10 bucks of it, so it is indeed a deal.

Editorial Review:

Unlike other machines, the VISOR does not destroy nutrients by friction, heat, or oxidation. In some juicers, these three forces destroy fragile vitamins and enzymes before they get to your glass.
