I bought this replacement bowl for a Cuisinart that is 20 years old. The bowl fits perfectly, and appears to be constructed out of the same sturdy material as the original.

I bought this after using a Braun processor of a similar type. This is a real workhorse, comes with several blades, not just one or two, and includes a juicer. The pulse option and the multi speed makes my job easier as I can add bits as I peel or cut. Love this equipment, the warranty is a good one, and the manual gave me ideas for use that I hadnt considered. A real deal for the $100 price I paid.

I have this food processor for over than 7 years (using it about 3-4 times a week) and it works perfectly, so I bought it for several of my relatives and friends and never heard any complaints about it. I had a black and decker one before and the engine in it broke after the third time I used it.

I originally purchased a 7 cup processor without doing much research on it. It only came with one reversible blade. I took that back and bought this one. It was marked down (by almost half) because the box had a mark on it. Big deal. The processor has been awesome. I have used both the main bowl for salsa and the mini bowl for stir fry. I couldn't be happier with this processor.

It has nothing to do with Kitchen Aid, it is a good processor, but it lacks adequate cutting components so that everything comes out virtually chopped and ground. I mean there is no way to alter the coarseness or finesse of the cuts. Would not have gotten it, had I known it was like that, because I had an old Cuisinart and that was in comparison a work of art and great to use. Furthermore, the recipe book sent along by Kitchen Aid, was meager and a grim example of what I was trying to express all along.

After reading several bad reviews I had decided not to get it - even though, at the price, 10 cup size and strong engine power of 500 watts it seemed the best deal compared to other brands that cost twice as much, or even more.
Anyway, I had written it off until I happened to see a unit on display at Target and was able to touch it and inspect it for myself. It looked perfectly fine to me. The blade seemed thick and sturdy. I checked out how the lid opens and closes etc and couldn't find anything visibly wrong with it. Maybe you have to get used to it, and not use brute force on any parts, but it's not rocket science. So I ended up buying it.
When I tried it out at home I was careful not to force any parts. There are two safety features. The first one is that the lid needs to be locked. The second one is that the cup needs to be locked as well, with the handle aligned in the front (as seen in the product picture above). If it's not in that position it won't start!!! At first mine wouldn't start, and I thought I had bought a lemon - until I figured it out. (Yeah, I don't read product manuals either).
It's been only 2 days, but so far it's been working just fine. I don't know what kind of miracles other "more advanced" machines can perform, but I am happy with what this unit does for me: it chops up stuff!
Is it loud? I can only compare it to my Oster blender. It's less noisy than the blender. After a few uses I became more familiar with working the lid etc. I'll be using it a lot and should it break down anytime soon I guarantee I will back here posting about it. Until then, this one gets two thumbs up. It's a solid product and a bargain at this price.

this an excellent food processor with many features. my wife and love ours and find it helps make our life a little easier and we are looking forward to using it this canning season to make green tomato chow chow and salsa also its very easy to use.

I bought this food processor last Fall to process fruit for jam making. I pick my fruit in the summer, and freeze it to make jam in the Fall to take advantage of the cooler weather. Jam making can be a hot job, especially in Texas! In previous years, I chopped my fruits by hand, but this year, my husband and I went overboard and picked pounds and pounds of strawberries, blackberries, blueberries and peaches. Then a friend gave me figs! There was no way I wanted to process all of that by hand, so I started shopping for a food processor. I found several good reviews of the Hamilton Beach 70670 and it was a great price, so after a little more comparison shopping decided to take the plunge.
When I got ready to process fruit, this processor performed like a champ. The only issue I had was making sure I gauged the pulse correctly, as a few of my batches of fruit ended up almost pureed, which was not what I was aiming for! It plowed through hours of processing for 3 days of a long weekend, then several 2 day weekens. And cleanup was so easy.
This is not my first food processor, but the Hamilton Beach compares very favorably with others I have used. I really love it and look forward to my next jam making season. I use it other times for smaller jobs, but the big workout for this baby is in the Fall.

This premier kitchen workhorse is streamlined, so the base (which measures 9 inches wide by 11 inches deep) looks less boxy and the processor more sleek and unobtrusive than ever on the counter. I don't yet own this specialty set, but am delighted to find it here on line after searching in stores. One of my family recipes are Polish-style potatoe pancakes made with grated raw potatoes, flour, egg and seasonings. What a chore to grate the potatoes by hand! If the fine grated does this job, my family will enjoy this treat that they love more often, and my knuckles won't need to be included in the dish!

How did we ever get along without food processors? This three-disk set enables you to expand the use of your machine with several terrific time-savers. The fine grater is used with especially hard foods such as nutmeats, Parmesan cheese, ginger, and horseradish, and the resulting uniform size of those tough-to-grate fibers are wonderful for adding to all sorts of recipes. The julienne disk gives you uniform 6-by-6-millimeter strips of vegetables or medium-hard cheeses, which is a great way of adding decorative touches to salads and stir-fries. I was looking for just this combinaton but this product is well below what I am used to in Cuisinart's products. The "stainless steel" item is actually grey PLASTIC at the all important base; there is only a high and low button to control speed; the food processor leaks liquids and can only be used half-full. The power does not seem to coincide with rating and is barely sufficient to deal with most tasks. The blender/processor combination is a great idea but this is an inferior product that is VERY disappointing. Since you cannot control the speed expect food and liguids to fly as the top is not fully sealed.
