I used this twice!! The first time was to make Ham salad and it worked great!!! How ever the second time I sliced 5 potatoes and the slice/shred disk broke!! No wonder it was an black friday item at Wal-Mart!
I was content with it for a while. 2 out of 5 stars.

I had this product about 2 years. I used it prob. 3-4 x's a month, mainly just making hummus or soups, so I didn't go very hard on it at all. I never used any blade other than the chopper. Mine was liad to rest because the blade got stuck on the bowl and would not come off. The blade will not turn so I can not use the product anymore. I tried everything to get that thing off of there! Soaking in soapy water, using 2 screw-drivers to try and pop it off, hitting a screwdriver with a hammer on the underside. There was no saving it. I called customer service and to replace the two parts would be $34 (which was $5 more than what I origionally paid for it at Walmart). I'm not buying another black and decker. I was pretty happy with it up until this happened, never had any problems with the motor or anything... but having a piece get stuck on there sucks and I didn't treat it badly at all. Other complaints the plastic bowl got a very small crack after a year or so and would leak, but I could pretty much fix that with a piece of tape over the crack. The thing also leaked contents out of it sometimes (through the top part) and cleaning the side shoot wasn't easy, but was doable with sponge without unscrewing. I could look past the leaking and the crack... but not so much the part getting stuck making the thing unusable.
