Anyway, this thing seems plenty capable of processing soups, sauces, nuts - pretty much anything, and it's a good size, too. Only thing that seemed to stretch it was a 2-loaf batch of lemon poundcake which filled up almost the entire bowl. But it still mixed fine. The slicing/shredding disc inserts are great for grating carrots and cabbage for coleslaw and for shredding large amounts of cheese (hint: shred lots of cheese and stash it in the freezer - it keeps for a long time!)

Love it, with qualifications 5 out of 5 stars.

This food processor is hard to beat. I use it several times a week. My big complaint is the cost of replacement parts. I had to pay $45 to KitchenAid to replace the bowl alone--not including the cover or the blade. I think this is outrageous.

I have the Bosch Compact Mixer. I had trouble getting this to connect to the mixer. I called Bosch customer service in CA and discovered how to attach this. You must put the cover on the processor and snap it in place just as if you were going to process food. This moves the plastic tab on the bottom out of the way so it will attach. Works great once you know the secret!

I was given this item as a gift. I have a Bosch compact kitchen center that starts with MUM 4, so it should have been just fine. But it didn't fit the machine and it didn't come with the disc holder either. It was quite a disappointment for both me and the giver. Cindi

Bowl capacity is 5 cups. When I ordered the product it says and shows in the picture, it comes with stainless steel measuring cups, however it did not come with them. I wrote to the company Abes of Maine and they didn't even have the courtesy to answer my email. I would never buy from them again , I could of gotten the food processor from a reliable company buy thought it would be nice to have the measuring cups , that was the only reason I chose Abes of Maine . Never buy from them. But I do love the food processor.
