I've owned Black and Decker's predecessor to this unit - the ShortCut - for about 25 years. It was a well designed Mini food processor. So I had high hopes for the Black & Decker MFP200 MiniPro Plus Food Processor. What a disappointment!
The problem is slicing. The slicing disk *MUST* be used in conjunction with a "redirection disk" that redirects whatever your slicing out the "ejection chute". Well this chute ejects alrighty - all over the kitchen.
It goes back to Target tomorrow. And to the design folks over at B & D: you should really test out your designs before going to production with them.
Do yourself a *HUGE* favor and pass on this unit.
I have to go now; I have mushroom slices all over my kitchen.

It works well, but has small capacity, so if you have a big onion, you still have precut it. It doesn't have instructions in English,so before you figure out how to put it together the next time after you clean it, you might cut yourself with the sharp blade. If you don't use a dishwasher, don't buy it. The blade is sharp and zigzag-shaped, it's very hard and unsafe to clean it.

It's not 750W. And it's designed to leak. And it's flimsy. 1 out of 5 stars.

Despite the "750" name and the description claiming a 750 W motor, this unit in fact has only a 500 W motor. Further, the bowl has the worst design I've ever seen in a blender: It doesn't feature a full-height tube to prevent the contents from leaking out of the blade drive hole. And it's made out of a very thin and flimsy plastic. This product is a joke.

I purchased this product with the idea it would help me out at Thanksgiving from having to cut celery & onions for stuffing. It didn't. There's a chute where your food is suppose to feed through a grater & into a bowl. Doesn't work. It gets stuck in the grater. I had to continously clean out the "chute" to keep it going. I actually ended up chopping everything myself. Would not recommend.
Only good for a small number of uses 2 out of 5 stars.

I received this as a gift, and am VERY glad I didn't spend money on it. While it does a decent job of chopping/cutting...it's not great. Plus, it doesn't contain the food very well, and you end up having more outside-the-unit cleanup than you should.
Also, the size is REALLY small. If you are doing a salad, chopping for a large recipe....forget it. It's only good for maybe a cup of chopped whatever-you-need at a time. It ends up taking more time than it saves, what with cleanup, lack of size, etc.
I would recommend it for very small chopping jobs, or as a gift for someone you aren't fond of or don't see very often.
